Pilates is everywhere these days, look around you, it seems like theres a studio on every corner and everyone raves about the results they enjoy from their Pilates practice!
Perhaps you’d love to start Pilates, but you’re feeling apprehensive about your ability to keep up in a class? or you’ve tried youtube videos, but you’re just not sure you’re doing it right?
I can help. Join me, Kim Paxton in my 4 week online program: ‘Pilates Done Right’
In 4 weeks, I will teach you the Basics of Pilates from the comfort of your own home. You’ll come away feeling more confident about booking in that class in your local studio, or to do Mat Pilates at home.
I have been teaching Pilates for 17 years and in that time I have seen hundreds, if not thousands of clients in my studio. And they all have one thing in common - they need to learn the Basics of Pilates to be getting the most out of their time AND to be safe while doing it.
Pilates isn’t what you do, it’s how you do it. The devil is in the details. Jumping into a Reformer class and hoping your body will be ok is like building a house without foundations - not a structure you’d want to live in right?
It’s the same for your body - get the foundations right and can enjoy the benefits of Pilates anywhere, confident that you know how to ‘engage your core’ and move without hurting yourself.
The great thing about learning the basics of Pilates, is all you need is enough room to lie down and a Mat of some type to do your workout on. Once you have these basics, you can feel more confident walking into a Pilates studio anywhere. Whether you choose to workout with the Pilates equipment or stick with the Mat, the skills you learn in the 6 week series will set you up for success.
In the 4 weeks, we’ll go through the Basics of Pilates in a weekly class, which will then get sent to your inbox so you can practice before the next session. In a 1 hour session, we’ll take 45 minutes to go through the exercises, and then 15 minutes at the end to ask any questions on correct technique and to troubleshoot any exercises that didn’t feel right in your body.
So if you’re ready to learn the Basics of Pilates - the right way - you’re in the right place!
I’ll also explain the different types of Pilates out there to help you make a good decision about which studio to try.
